Hey [First Name]! šŸ‘‹

2

I was scrolling through your content and I noticed something — your stuff has incredible raw material, but the edits aren't really showing it off the way they could.

3

So I took one of your recent posts and re-edited it to show what it could look like with some proper short-form treatment. No pressure, just wanted to show you the difference.

4

Wanna see the before/after? Takes 30 seconds to look and you can decide from there.

5

Either way, love what you're doing with [Their Niche] šŸ’Ŗ

Send the edited video as a follow-up message (not the first DM — it's spammy). Wait 30-60 min after sending the hook, then reply with the before/after clip. The pattern: "curiosity gap" → "I made something for you" → delivery.

SUBJECT:

Quick edit I made for @[Handle]

I came across your {{platform}} recently and noticed you're putting out solid content — the raw material is there.

I took the liberty of re-editing one of your recent posts. Not to change your style, just to show what it could look like with a bit more short-form polish. Better cuts, stronger hooks, the works.

Here it is: [link to before/after]

No strings attached, no sales pitch. If it's useful, great. If not, no hard feelings.

Let me know what you think!

Finding emails: Use the Instagram handle to find their business website, then look for a contact page. For restaurants, check their Google Business Profile. For fitness coaches, check their website or Linktree. Never guess an email — always verify with Hunter.io or similar before sending.

How to use these scripts

Find targets with real content
Look for accounts posting 2-5x/week with decent engagement — they care but don't have a video editor.
Send 10-20/day, not 100
Quality over volume. 20 good DMs beats 100 copy-pasted ones.
Edit real video, not stock
Always use their actual content. People recognize their own footage.
Follow up once
If no reply in 48h, send one follow-up: "Hey, just following up on the edit I made for you."
Don't cold pitch price
Never mention pricing in the first DM/email. Show value first.
Track everything in the dashboard
Log every target in /dashboard — status, follow-ups, notes.
